CHILDREN WITH MEDICAL HANDICAPS

Children with Medical Handicaps is a program that links families of children with special health care needs with health care providers to obtain payment for the medical services their child needs.

CMH has three programs to help children with special health care needs: Diagnostic Program, Treatment Program, and Service Coordination Program.

INFANT MORTALITY

Infant mortality is the death of an infant before his or her first birthday. The infant mortality rate is the number of infant deaths for every 1,000 live births.

Every year in Franklin County, approximately 150 babies die before reaching the age of one.
